The Project:

Interpretation of Sky’s core business sustainability vision and objectives into a comprehensive suite of documents to guide the redevelopment of the Sky Osterley Campus. The adopted sustainability framework and associated strategies informed the campus master planning exercise as well as the development and delivery of a number of individual buildings including: the Meeting Centre, Believe in Better Building, Health and Fitness Centre, Sky Central, Multi-storey car park and associated hard and soft infrastructure. Many buildings utilised extensive timber structure to reduce embodied carbon, while a key focus on health and well-being has ensured excellent quality internal and external spaces. KLH developed a comprehensive Employment Strategy for the construction phase, resulting in high levels of apprenticeships and trainees employed on the projects. At completion the Believe in Better Building was the UK’s tallest commercial timber building.

Sky have developed a first class collaborative relationship with KLH in recent years, enlisting their full-time assistance & guidance to ensure that as a responsible Client we continue to raise the bar in all aspects of sustainable development & construction.
