Wood You Believe It?

What have a cubicle partition, a raised access floor panel and a bit of formwork got in common? Well, the clue is in the title. Timber is often heralded as a sustainable building material as it absorbs carbon as it grows, effectively acting as a carbon sink. However improperly managed tree felling can lead to land degradation, pollution of watercourses, a loss of biodiversity and displaced populations.
